It was rumored that the actress is moving in with her boyfriend Ryan Reynolds’ Los Angeles home.  The “Match Point” star is said to be currently transferring her belongings to the actor’s home against her mother’s wishes.  A source said, “Scarlett feels she is ready to move in with Ryan and thinks he is the perfect man for her, but her mother thinks she is too young to settle down and is worried she is rushing into things.”  The actress’ representative is yet to comment on the rumors.  But she did quash rumors of an impending wedding after the actress was seen shopping for wedding dresses at Los Angeles’ Monique Lhuillier boutique with her family.  “A family member is getting married, not her.  She is not engaged,” the actress’ rep stated.

If it is true that Scarlett is indeed moving in with Ryan, well, it’s their business and it’s their right to make decisions on their own.  They are both grownups already and mature enough to know what’s best for them.  I just hope that this is not just like other Hollywood romances wherein celebrities rush into things without thinking, getting married and divorced in a flash.

Rumors are circulating that the “Lost in Translation” star is smitten with Ryan Reynolds and has agreed to marry the Canadian actor.  The two stars were first seen together at a cinema in New York last year.  The couple have been dating for almost a year and sparked engagement rumors last year when Scarlett and Ryan flew to Canada to meet his parents.  A source close to the couple said, “We can expect an engagement announcement from Ryan and Scarlett any day now.  They are very much in love and have decided to take the next step.  Scarlett is thrilled!”

Ryan became involved with the actress shortly after the actor ended his engagement with fellow Canadian and pop rock musician Alanis Morissette.  On the other hand, Scarlett previously dated Josh Hartnett, her “Black Dahlia” co-star, for two years.  The pair claimed that their busy lives were a major factor in their separation.  They have remained close friends after their split though.  Josh has even joked about finding the perfect photograph to put in Scarlett’s bachelorette party invitations.  “Josh has the funniest picture of Scarlett on his phone.  They’re at home having dinner and she’s brandishing a carving knife over a chicken like a slasher and making a face.  It would look perfect on the invitation for the bachelorette party,” a source told the New York Daily News.

Scarlett and Ryan are yet to issue a statement but if the rumors are true, then let’s wish the two good luck and hope for the best.
